Sample Submission
5You can submit samples by completing the online order form on the relevant service page (Sanger, NGS, etc.). After submitting your order, you will receive a confirmation email with detailed shipping instructions, sample labeling guidelines, and our lab address. Samples should be shipped on dry ice for DNA/RNA.
For Sanger sequencing, we require a minimum of 15β20 ng/Β΅L of purified PCR product or plasmid DNA in a volume of at least 10 Β΅L. The sample should have an A260/A280 ratio between 1.8 and 2.0 for optimal results. Primer concentration should be 3.2 pmol/Β΅L.
For NGS services, we typically require 1β5 Β΅g of high-quality genomic DNA (A260/A280: 1.8β2.0; A260/A230: 2.0β2.2) with minimal degradation. For RNA-seq, 1β5 Β΅g of total RNA with RIN β₯ 7 is recommended. Exact requirements vary by application β please check the specific service page or contact us for guidance.
DNA samples should be shipped in 1.5 mL Eppendorf tubes, tightly sealed with Parafilm. For RNA samples, use RNase-free tubes and ship on dry ice. All tubes must be clearly labeled with your order number and sample ID. Use a secondary containment (zip-lock bag) inside the shipping box. Include a printed copy of your order form.
Yes, you are welcome to drop off samples in person at our facility at ODTΓ Teknokent Ostim Campus, Yenimahalle, Ankara. Please contact us in advance to schedule a drop-off time during working hours (MondayβFriday, 09:00β18:00). Walk-in deliveries without prior notice may not be accepted.
Pricing & Payment
4Pricing depends on the service type, number of samples, read depth (for NGS), turnaround time, and any additional bioinformatics analysis required. You can get an instant price estimate by filling out the order form on each service page. For large-scale projects or custom analyses, please contact us for a tailored quote.
Yes, we offer special pricing for academic institutions, research groups, and bulk orders (10+ samples). Universities and research centers affiliated with METU Technopark may also qualify for partnership rates. Please contact us with details of your project to discuss applicable discounts.
We accept bank transfers (EFT/SWIFT), credit card payments, and institutional purchase orders. For international clients, payments can be made in USD or EUR via SWIFT transfer. Invoices are issued after order confirmation. Academic institutions may request deferred payment terms β please contact us for details.
Yes, expedited processing (typically 24β48 hours faster than standard turnaround) is available for most services at an additional surcharge of 30β50% on the base price. Rush availability depends on current lab capacity. You can select expedited processing in the order form.
Services
5Sanger sequencing is ideal for sequencing single genes or verifying cloning results (up to ~1,000 bp per reaction). It is cost-effective for small numbers of samples. NGS (Next-Generation Sequencing) enables massively parallel sequencing of entire genomes, transcriptomes, or targeted panels, making it suitable for large-scale projects, variant discovery, and metagenomics.
Yes. Basic bioinformatics (quality control, trimming, alignment to reference genome, and variant calling) is included in our standard NGS packages. Advanced analyses such as differential expression, pathway enrichment, structural variant detection, and custom pipelines are available as add-on services. Please specify your analysis requirements in the order form.
We work with a wide range of organisms including humans, animals, plants, bacteria, fungi, and viruses. Our metagenomics service covers complex microbial communities from environmental, clinical, and food samples. If you have an unusual or non-model organism, please contact us to discuss feasibility.
Yes, we offer CRISPR/Cas9-based gene editing services including guide RNA (gRNA) design, vector construction, and delivery optimization. We also provide validation of editing efficiency via Sanger or NGS sequencing. Please contact us with details about your target gene, organism, and desired edit type to receive a customized proposal.
Yes. We synthesize custom genes from 200 bp to 10 kb with codon optimization options for various expression systems (E. coli, yeast, mammalian, plant). Delivery includes the synthesized gene cloned into your choice of vector, sequence-verified by Sanger sequencing. Typical turnaround is 7β14 business days depending on length and complexity.
Results & Turnaround
4Standard turnaround times: Sanger sequencing (1β3 business days), NGS whole-genome sequencing (10β15 business days), RNA-seq (10β14 business days), metagenomics (14β21 business days), gene synthesis (7β14 business days). Expedited options are available for most services. Turnaround begins upon receipt of acceptable quality samples.
Results are delivered electronically via a secure download link sent to your registered email. Sanger results are provided as .ab1 (chromatogram) and .seq (FASTA) files. NGS results include raw FASTQ files, QC reports (HTML/PDF), and analysis outputs (BAM, VCF, count matrices, etc.) depending on the service. Data is available for download for 30 days.
If a sample fails our incoming QC checks (e.g., insufficient concentration, degradation, contamination), we will notify you within 1β2 business days with a detailed QC report. You will have the option to submit a replacement sample at no additional charge, or we can proceed with the existing sample at your own risk. We do not charge for failed samples that cannot be processed.
Yes. All sample data and sequencing results are treated with strict confidentiality. We do not share, publish, or use your data for any purpose other than completing your order. Data is stored on secure servers and deleted after 90 days unless you request extended storage. We are happy to sign a Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) upon request.
